Horace Steele Dead
Horace Steele, aged 78 years, died at his home on the Park, shortly after 11 o'clock last Wednesday. He had only been confined to his room for three weeks, although he had gradually been wasting away for several years past.
The deceased was born in Montpelier, Vt., May 14, 1820, and came to Painesville in 1826, since which time he has been a resident of this place.
The funeral occurred at his late residence on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial private.
