BENJAMIN FRANKLIN BARNETT

Benjamin Franklin Barnett was born on December 27, 1852 and died on July 5, 1926 at the age of 73.
He and his family came to Western Oklahoma from West Virginia in a wagon train (sometimes between 1902 and 1905), and my father-in-law, M. K. Foglesong told me that his mother, Delpha (Barnett) Foglesong said that it took them ninety-six (96) days to get there.
He married Anna Elizabeth Wright, and they had the following eight (8) children: Five (5) sons: Elbon R., Hollis B., Arthur, Lon and John Barnett, all of Woodward, OK; three (3) daughters: Lucy (Barnett) Enstminger, Covington, VA, Clara (Barnett) (Beighley) Ray and Delpha (Barnett) Foglesong, Woodward, Oklahoma.
