    At rest Friday, March 15, 2002 at her late residence. Born in Argo, IL and a resident of Joliet since 1955. An avid crossword puzzle enthusiast.
    Surviving are her four children, Kathy (Bob) Dockendorf of Joliet, Joan (Steve) Sinkler of Morris, Harry Pfaltzgraff of Joliet and Peggy (Art) Holden of Plainfield; five grandchildren, Bobby Dockendorf, Jill Dockendorf (Jeff) Ftacek, Kym Dockendorf, Billy and Johnny Olson; a great-grandson, Robert C. Dockendorf, Jr.
    Preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Pfaltzgraff; parents, Martin and Josephine Shurbach; a brother, Ted Shurbach; two sisters, Lucy Shurbach and Dorothy McGuire; faithful companions, Willy, Thriller and Bebe.
    Mom will always be remembered by her generosity, kindness, caring and profound love for all animals.
    Funeral services for Virginia M. Pfaltzgraff will be Monday, March 18, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials in her memory to the Will County Humane Society would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 4-8 p.m. at:
