Son of Alexander Cain and Emma Jane Johnson Cain. Emma Jane Johnson Cain was the daughter of Arthur Johnson and Pheriby A. Burkett Johnson.

One other daughter: Jewel Tison Cain 1908-1944.


Baxley News Herald -- Friday May 14, 1909

Frank Cain dies after an operation for appendicitis. A well known citizen of Appling County, dies at his home ten miles from Baxley on Sunday morning. Mr. Cain was stricken down with appendicitis just a week previous to his death. He was operated on by Dr. Hall, assisted by local physicians on Friday morning. The appendix was so badly decayed that other complications immediately appeared and despite the skillful efforts of attending physicians he passed away early on Sunday morning. Mr. Cain leaves a wife and a small child. He was universally liked and his sudden and untimely death will be learned with deep sorrow.
