Son of Carl Henry Mueller (1874-1961) & Louisa Maria Dorothea (Plagmann) Mueller (1882-1968) residents of Aurora & Hanson Counties, South Dakota. Grandson of Ludwig V Plagmann (1846-1934) & Dorothea (Elfert) Plagmann (1849-1912) of Alexandria, South Dakota, and Carl Müller (1850-1923) & Marie "Mary" (Friedrichs) Mueller (1856-1934) also of Alexandria.
Lived in south central South Dakota until he left for the service in 1941. Then lived in California the remainder of his life, living in Long Beach, Burlingame, Pasadena, Azusa, Glendora, Fontana, and Santa Ana.
Served in the US Coast Guard during WWII (Nov 1941 - Jun 1946,) finishing his tour of duty on the troop transport USS Hunter Liggett, bringing troops home from the south Pacific.
During the war he met and married Elizabeth M Rothe a resident of San Francisco. He was a general contractor, builder, and Pastor. Attended Southern California Bible College in Pasadena until it moved to Costa Mesa, then he transferred to Pasadena Nazarene College for his final year and graduation. In 1952 moved to Azusa California, were he built two houses, one the family lived in the other to sell. In 1966 He married Betty Storey Brooks following the passing of his wife Elizabeth in 1964. Pastored Bethel Assembly of God Church, Fontana, California from 1966 to 1990, named Pastor Emeritus in 1990. In 2004 they moved to Santa Ana to spend their retirement closer to family.
