Age 82, of Louisville, was suddenly called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday morning, February 18, 2010. She was born March 29, 1927, in Alliance, Ohio, to the late Anthony and Flora (Urig) Cook. Jane was a committed Christian who lived her faith, as all who knew her will testify. One of her favorite Scripture verses was Philippians 1:21 "For me to live is Christ and to die is gain," which she has now realized. She positively influenced many children and staff in her 20 years of teaching at Louisville Elementary before her retirement in 1990. She loved her Lord, her husband and family, and her many close friends. She enjoyed traveling, was a creative and avid quilter, and loved to spend time at home with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 68 years, Robert Royer; her children, Susan (Kevin) Arn of Louisville, Jim (Ronna) Royer of Flushing, Mich., Joel (Kathy) Royer of Fullerton, Calif., and William (Rebekah) Royer of Louisville; her grandchildren, David (Jennifer) Arn, Mark (Diane) Arn, Tom Arn and fiancee, Sara, Father Robert (Krystal) Royer, Dr. Melissa Royer, Meghan (Andrew) Durand, Jonathan and Tim Royer, Michael and Emilie Royer; eight great-grandchildren, two brothers, Bob (Helen) Cook of Brighton, Mich., Jack (Carmen) Cook of Plymouth, Mich., and a sister, Helen Foate of Virginia.
