only one witness in my power, ivip. Daniel Nein, a resident of Berks County, Pennsylvania. He is a creditable person and is several years older than I am, I could not prove his affidavit in open court on account of the distance and old age. I was born on 15th. Jan. 1758 in county of Berks Pennsylvania. I entered the Revolutionary War and I now reside in the same place and have not changed residence only during my services and my reason for not applying sooner for a pension is because I was once in good circumstances and was possessed of a farm, but owing to misfortune
I have become poor. I now stand in need of my county, I was acquainted With the following officers and privates; Col. Kazen, Col. Dan'l Udree , Col. Lotz, Col. Bull, Capto Nagle , Oeo. Ream, Staily, Conrad Geist, Henry Neider, Jas. Heaton, I have no church record of my birth only family record. He hereby relinquished every claim of a pension except the present that he served 6 months as aforesaid for that amount of time he claims a pension.
