I lost Ma Hiley at an early age. She had a hard life raising seven children, but my father helped her when he could. Some of her children were born during the Great Depression, so at times there wasn't alot of food. Later in life she went to Culinary School and become a Chef, and visited other countries. She had a good life, I wish I could have known her better.
She is survived by her husband Charlie, eight children and and 15 grandchildren.
