Death of Mrs. Brewer.
Mrs. Amanda E. Brewer, of 220 North Fourth street passed away at the family home this morning about 8 o'clock. The cause of her death is given as cancer of the liver. She has been sick for several months past. She was the widow of Ben Brewer, whose death occurred several years ago. She leaves several grown children to mourn her death. The family resided northeast of the city for many years. The deceased was aged 65 years and 11 days. She was a native of Iowa. The body will be interred in Riverview cemetery, but the time of the funeral has not been decided upon.

Funeral of Mrs. Brewer.
Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Brewer, of 220 North Fourth street, whose death occurred yesterday morning, will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the residence. Rev. L.M. Riley, of Wichita, a former pastor of the First M.E. church here, will conduct the funeral. He will arrive in Arkansas City tomorrow morning over the Midland Valley. The body of Mrs. Brewer will be interred in Riverview cemetery beside that of her husband, whose death occurred several years ago. Mrs. Brewer was 65 years of age.
