Claudine Leavitt Zule, 93 of Leavenworth, KS, passed away January 23, 2011 at a Lansing Nursing Home.
Funeral Services will be 12:30 PM Saturday, January 29th, 2011 at Belden Larkin Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary "Sam" Sandford officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM Saturday.
Burial will be in Mt. Muncie Cemetery.
Claudine was born December 18th, 1917 in Severy, Kansas the daughter of Abner and Mary Etta (Manning) Mitchell.
During her childhood the family moved to Lansing, Kansas and attended Nine Mile School, where she met Eugene Zule whom she would later marry.
She married John Leavitt and he passed away December 18th, 1975, she then married Eugene Zule on April 22nd, 1994, he proceeded her in death April 6th, 2003.
Claudine was a homemaker and sold Avon for over 30 years. She was a team leader for Avon, and received many awards, and continued selling until she reached 80 years old. She also raised and groomed Toy Poodles for many years, and enjoyed shopping. Eugene and Claudine enjoyed going to the casino's in the area, and playing cards with there family.
She is survived by one daughter, Darlene Rivera, four sons; Johnny, Dean, Jerry and Paul Leavitt, twelve grandchildren, fourteen grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter who will be born anyday.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Violet Leavitt, one son, Raymond Leavitt, one grandson, Michael Zawodny, one sister, Ada Pritchett Leintz, two brothers, Sam and Pat Mitchell, and a infant brother and sister.
