Jule H. Dyer Battle Creek Jule H. Dyer, 85, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Battle Creek Health System. Jule was born on October 22, 1925, in Hopkins, MI, the son of Frank and Viola Dyer. He was a veteran serving for 2 years in the U.S. Navy. Jule was an area resident for 57 years coming from Hopkins, MI. On October 13, 1951, he was united in marriage to the former Beverly M. Rohr who survives. He was employed as a switchman for Michigan Bell Telephone Co., for 40 years retiring in 1986. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and carpentry finishing work. Surviving are sons, David A. (Rachel) Dyer and Jeff H. Dyer; grandsons, Ryan and Jonathan. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2011, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with The Rev. Steve O'Dell officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
