Euel S. Bragg

WAYSIDE -- Euel Staunton Bragg, 63, formerly of Shady Spring was dead on arrival Wednesday at a Summers County hospital after a short illness.

Born Feb. 12, 1921, at Abraham, he was the son of the late Fletcher and Katy Radford Bragg.

Mr. Bragg was an employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Lilly Mae Bragg of Greenville; a son, Billy Ray Bragg of Rochester, N.Y.; two daughters, Cathy Lynn Mesh of Rochester, N.Y. and Linda Lee Fry of Irving, Texas; three brothers, Azel Bragg of Beaver, Buren Bragg of Jumping Branch and Aubrey Bragg of Shady Spring; a sister, Ida Richmod of Shady Spring; two grandchildren.

Services will be today at 1 p.m. at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley with the Rev. Virgil C. Cook officiating. Burial will be in the Goodson Cemetery at Abraham.

Friends may call today until the service hour.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Richmond, Carl Bragg, Jimmy Bragg, Michael Radford, John Radford and Donald Bragg.
