Joseph Phillip "Joe" Goldberg, 69, of Liburn, GA died June 14, 2003. He is survived by his wife Patsy Goldberg.
Joe was a retired computer programmer with Alltel Information Services.
He was an avid mountain climber, backpacker, kayaker and music man. He spent many years volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, St. Vincent De Paul Society and other charitable causes.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday June 18th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephens the Martyr with Father Patrick Donaghey to serve as celebrant, 537 Wydella Rd, Librun, 770-381-7488.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Vincent De Paul Society.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Wages & Son Stone Mountain, 770-469-981
