Burial was at Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Adams, Roger and John Wenzel, Gary Varsho, Terry Mancl, and Jeff Miller.
Visitation was held at the Hanson Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m on Tuesday, January 12, and then at the church after 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
She was born July 14, 1904, in Albert Lea, Minn., to the late Alba F. and Ida Mae (Davidson) Bump. She attended school in Alber Lea. In 1918, at the age of 14, she moved to Marshfield with her parents. They settled in the town of Marshfield where they farmed. She lived on the farm until her first marriage.
She was married to John Wenzel in 1923, in Wisconsin Rapids, and he died June 2, 1950. She was married to Helmuth Schultz, in 1959, in Marshfield.
She and her first husband farmed on the Wenzel home farm until 1932. They then moved to Marshfield and Mr. Wenzel was superintendent of the Wood County Farm until the time of his death. After her second marriage, she and her second husband continued to live in Marshfield. She became a resident of the Nursing Center in November 1992.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, the Rainbow Hobby Club, and the Marshfield Senior Citizens.
At the time of her passing, she was survived by her husband, Helmuth; three daughters, Mrs. Lila Heckel of San Bernardino, Calif; Mrs. George (Marian) Adams of Marshfield and Mrs. Russell (Margaret) Kohl of Appleton; four sons, Richard Wenzel of Marshfield, James Wenzel of Wisconsin Rapids, Wayne Wenzel of Tacoma, Washington, and Dale Wenzel of Altamonte Springs, Florida; two step-sons, Floyd Schultz of Pittsville and Victor Schultz of Marshfield; one sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Edna) Olson of Eau Claire; two brothers, Stanley Bump of Marshfield and Donald Bump of Ludlow, Mass.; 22 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by one brother, Percy Bump Sr.
Memorials were designated to Faith Lutheran Church.
