Daughter of Edward and Mary Elizabeth Shelton Brown. She married Orin Masters in May 1917, he preceded her in death in 1972.

She is survived by a son Eugene Masters of Roodhouse; three daughters Mary Stansbury of St. Louis, Dorothy Collins of Springfield and Pauline DeWolfe of Wyoming, IL.; 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Mabel Everett; and eight brothers and sisters.
