Earl Deuel. 72, 605. Tyler street, retired Chicago - North Western railway employee, died Sunday night at a hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Deuel was born January 17, 1889. at Princeton. Mn. ( his mother died on Jan 22, 1889). The family located at Worthington, Minn, shortly after his birth.
He married Angelia Smith on September 14, 1912, at Huron, S D. They moved to Sioux City in 1917.
He retired in January, 1954.
Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Miss Evelyn Deuel of Sioux City and three sisters, Mr. William Malcolm. of Worthington, Mrs. C. L. Wickstrom of Sioux City and Mrs. Fred Ramert of Ruthton, Minn.
The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy funeral home, 711 Myrtle street.
Burial took place in Worthington.
