Margaret L. (Malone) Porta, 98, Hollidaysburg, also known as 'Martie Vean,' died Tues. at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. She was born in Altoona to Robert C. & Jane (Benton) Malone. She married Robert J. Porta on Jan. 14, 1943, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. They celebrated their 67th anniversary in 2010, and Robert died in March 2010. Survived by son, David J. & wife, Belinda, of Utica, NY; daughter, Anne Keiths, of Punta Gorda, FL. A son, Joseph, died at birth in 1951. Surviving grandchildren: Scott J. Porta, of Littleton, CO, and Sean R. Porta & wife, Barbara, of Whitesboro, NY, as well as birth granddaughter, Jennifer Williamson & husband, Harry, of Dayton, OH; Gr.grandchildren: Paige Ann and Michael Sean Porta of Whitesboro, NY, as well as birth gr. grandchildren: Samuel, Luke and Kate Williamson of Dayton, OH. Margaret graduated from St. Mary Grade School, Hollidaysburg and Altoona Catholic High School, 1930. She worked for various employers, including Elliott Truck Co. and Penelec. She also worked for the Hon. Thomas Baldridge, the late chief justice of the PA Supreme Court. She retired from the Hollidaysburg Trust Co. She had been a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. Committal, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Newry.
