A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Martha Hopkins Graves, a homemaker and a member of the Cotton Mill Village Church.

Mrs. Price was preceded in death by son-in-law Lannie Howell, three sisters Rachel Turner, Clara Ruth Pressley and Lena Mae Rogers and three brothers, Harvey, Wilburn, and E.D. Graves.
