Mrs. Wentz, a Union County native, was a homemaker and had attended Union County Schools. She was a former member of Stewardess Board No. 2 at her church.
Survivors are her sons, Harold Wentz of New York, Kenneth Wentz , Brice Wentz , James Wentz ; daughters, Mrs. Eunetia Cox of Clinton, Md., Mrs. Betty Atcherson of Washington, Mrs. Juanita Sturdivant, Mrs. Mary Shambeger, Mrs. Dorothy Gilliam, Miss Wistenia Wentz , Mrs. Bernice McNair, Mrs. Brite Jackson, Mrs. Shirley Pratt, Mrs. Gloria Ross; sister, Mrs. Eula Mae Byrum; 46 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at Rock Hill AME Zion Church from 1 p.m. Saturday until the service.
