Mr. William J. Chambers.
SASKATOON, Sask., April 12. William John Chambers, aged 89, said by local Orangemen to be one of the oldest members of the order in the Dominion, died here Saturday [10th April] from heart failure. Mr. Chambers had been a resident of the Province for 16 years. He was born in Ireland, coming to Canada in infancy. He joined the Orange order at the age of 18 years and continued a member for 71 years."
