"The death of Lydia R. Green occurred at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Roger Goodale, on Sunday afternoon, she having succumbed to a succession of shocks that began about three months ago. The funeral was held on Wednesday at three p. m. in the Methodist Church, the Reverend H. L. Campbell officiating, and interment was made in Lakeview Cemetery. Mrs. Green was Lydia R. Mallory, daughter of Louisa and John Mallory, and was born at Sandy Creek, N. Y., on June 16, 1850. She came here when thirteen years old and on February 14, 1869, married George Henry Green. She was very highly respected by all who knew her throughout a long and useful life. There survive, two daughters and a son, Mrs. Henry Hall of Utica, Mrs. William Baltzell, and John D. Green of Orlando, Florida; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Wheeler of Mannsville; four grandchildren, Mrs. Roger Goodale and Louis Baltzell of Richfield Springs, Lysle Baltzell of Thendara, N.
