NORTHBROOK, Ill. --- Jerome J. Buschelman, 64, Northbrook, Ill., formerly of Fordyce, Neb., died of a short illness Thursday (Jan. 9, 1986) in the Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, Ill.
The funeral was 11 a.m. Jan. 11 in St. Norbert's Catholic Church, with his nephew, the Rev. James Buschelman, Wayne, Neb., officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Harold Buschelman, Siegfried Buschelman, Thomas Buschelman, Lee Fillian, Nick Kobal and Tommy Kobal.
Mr. Buschelman was born Dec. 5, 1921, in Fordyce, Neb., to the late Frank and Anna (Steffen) Buschelman. He graduated from Holy Trinity High School, Hartington, Neb., and served in the U.S. Navy. He married Bernice Sedlar Sept. 30, 1944, in Cicero, Ill. He was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus, a past commander of George W. Benjamin American Legion, Northbrook, and St. Norbert's Church.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Glenn, Glenview, Ill.; three daughters, Jennifer Pollitt, Australia, Cheryle Buschelman, Houston, Texas, Betty Hagstrom, Rosemont, Ill., four grandchildren; two brothers, Harold, Hartington, Sig, Fordyce and five sisters, Viola Schulte and Bernice Buschelman, Fordyce, Lucille Aspen, Hastings, Neb., Annette Fillian, Creston, Iowa, and Mary Ann Barnes, Yankton.
