Mr. Mason died on Thursday, April 16, 1998, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born on Aug. 27, 1917, in Overton County to the late M.T. and Della Bartlett Mason. Mr. Mason served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ.
His family includes his wife, Dorothy Bowman Mason of Cookeville; a son and daughter-in-law, Jere and Arlene Mason of Cookeville; a daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Randy Hensley; three grandchildren, Amber Mason Ashburn, Billy Mason Hensley and Lindsay Hensley.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, J. B. and Waymon Mason.
Pallbearers will be Bill Bowman, Earl Mason, Buddy, Donald and John Bartlett and Buddy King.
