Kathryn and Claude was married about 1946 in California and they had one son, Claude Lee Anderson.

After Kathryn's mother died in 1925, Kathryn was an inmate in the Glen Mills School for girls in 1930 along with her sister Lucille according to the 1930 Pennsylvania Federal Census.

Kathryn was a governess for two wealthy children and after the war she came to California with the children's parents to visit the children's grandparents who owned a large ranch. She meet her future husband here and eventually they got married here. Kathryn and her husband belong to the Moose Lodge and were quite active in it. Kathryn's address was 1311 Chino Street, Santa Barbara, California in 1958. Kathryn and her husband had divorced before 1973 and she was living at 1410 De La Vina Street, Santa Barbara, California. She was working as a housekeeper for the Upham Hotel for the last five years.

Kathryn died from a massive Intracerebral Hemorrage. She passed away in the Santa Barbara General Hospital at 8:55 P.M.. Kathryn was cremated on 23 Oct 1973, one day after her birthday. Welch-Ryce Associates handled the Funeral arrangements and the Santa Barbara Cemetery is where Kathryn's ashes/or body was buried according to her death certificate.
