Ronald W. Patenaude, 62, of Lewisville passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011. He was born July 16, 1948, in Clay Center, Kansas to William Patenaude and Agnes Breault Patenaude.
Ron married Maggie Wilson on November 22, 1969, in Hanover, KS. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Ron was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewisville and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Ron was also a member of the Lewisville Rotary Club.
Ron is survived by his wife, Maggie; children, Jennifer Gingrich and husband, Sean, Brian Patenaude and wife, Jennifer and Aaron Patenaude and wife, Zarlacht; mother, Agnes Patenaude; sister, Jolene Welborn; and grandchildren Adriah, Ava, Noah, Lily and William.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, January 30, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 31, at St. Philip Catholic Church, and a graveside service will be held at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
