Danny was born in Philadelphia. He served in the US Navy during WWII where he was disabled. He was a member of the original Bob Cat division, later known as the Sea Bees and enjoyed attending their reunions. He was a member of the VFW Post 6884, Knights of Columbus Council 5197 and Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed meeting his friends and walking the Deptford Mall, going to Cape May and fooling around with his grandchildren.
Married to Elsie G. (Nee Fowler) for 59 wonderful years. Devoted father to son Daniel H. (Krista), daughter Sandra Hingley (Herbert) and son James J. (Janice). Dear brother of Alberta Achey . Loving grandfather of 7, Great grandfather of 5.
Funeral Mass Mon. 10AM in St. Matthew's RC Church National Park, where relatives and friends may call after 9AM. Inurnment Woodbury Memorial Park.
