Eleanora Marie was born July 2,1962 at Saint Anthony's Hospital,Hays, Kansas. Eleanora was the ninth child of Arthur and Viola Dreiling Budig from Plainville, Ks.
My sister Janice and I were thrilled when we found out we got a new little sister...seeing that we had 6 brothers already, we sure didn't want another brother. Little Eleanora was only 9 years old, when she was diagnosed with bone cancer in her leg. The doctors thought they got it all when they amputated her leg, but they didn't...the cancer spread to other parts of her body... Eleanora died early morning Febuary 18,1973 at St. Anthony's Hospital.
Little Eleanora is survived at the time of her death by her parents; brothers, Art Jr. Jack, Vernon, David, Doug and Bob; sisters Sharon, Janice and Kathy.
Her brother Nick died from a fall Sept 11, 1966....Family members who have joined Eleanora in heaven since her death are, Art Jr., Dec 12, 1995, mother Viola Jan 24th 1996 and sister Janice Dec 17th, 2012. Dad has joined the family in heaven on April 13th 2015.
