George McCutcheon-Smithers-George Bernard "Shorty" McCutcheon, 55, of Smithers, Fayette County was dead on arrival Tuesday (March 7, 1972) at Montgomery General Hospital of an apparent heart attack.

He was a dispatcher for Marisco Taxi Co. in Montgomery and was a native and lifelong resident of Fayette county.

Surviving: wife, Nettie Perry McCutcheon; sons, George Ernest of Cleveland, Ohio, William and Kenneth, both of Smithers; daughters, Mrs. Marie Underwood of Atlanta, Ga., Elizabeth and Mary, both at home; mother, Mrs. Maggie McCutcheon of Cleveland, Ohio; sister, Mrs. Juanita Taylor of California; brothers, Arnold and Robert, both of Streetsboro, Ohio; three grandchildren.

The body is at O'Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery.
