Dover The Rev. Charles A. Krout, 95, of Dover, died at 4 p.m. Saturday at the York County Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Rosa H. Diehl Krout.
The service will be at the Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will be in Quickel's cemetery.
Rev. Krout was born July 16, 1902, in Conewago Township. He was the son of the late Henry and Ida Wintermyer Krout.
He was a retired Christian and Missionary Alliance pastor, ordained in World Ministries.
Rev. Krout is survived by a son, Elijah E. Krout of Dallastown,; two daughters, Ruth Firth of York Haven and Rosemary Destephano of East Berlin. 16 grandchildren,; 20 great-grandchildren,; and 3 great-great grandchildren,; and a brother Daniel of Zion's View. Rev. Krout was preceeded in death by a son Charles A. Krout Jr.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Edward J, Rowand, pastor of Rohler's Assembly of God.
