"PASSED PEACEFULLY AWAY

Mrs. O. G. Cavanaugh Dies Suddenly at Her Home in Kent
Funeral To Day

The people of Kent were shocked to learn Thursday afternoon that Mrs. O. G. Cavanaugh was no more. It is true that it was known the lady had not been in good health, especially since her marriage, but few realized she was in a dangerous condition.

About ten days ago doctors Smith and Taylor held a consultation, decided her case was a serious one, and that the only hope of saving the lady's life was by performing a surgical operation, which was successfully accomplished. However the shock of the operation weakened the vitality of the patient and she grew gradually worse until Thursday, when she passed peacefully away.

Anna Zeigler (her maiden name) was born in Saline county, Ill., July 15, 1880, and was therefore 22 years and 7 months old. Her marriage to Mr. Cavanaugh occurred April 18, 1897. The deceased was very popular among the people of Kent where she is so well known; she was a loving mother, a devoted wife, always looking after the comfort and welfare of her dear ones. The husband and two small children are left to mourn her loss. They certainly have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.

The funeral services take place from the M. E. church this (Saturday) afternoon."
