She is survived by four children, Mrs. Joseph Hemsing, this city; Phillip Fischer and Mrs. Otto Matthias, of Glenbeulah; William Fischer of Madison; two brothers, Alex Anhalt of St. Nazianz, August Anhalt of Kiel; two sisters, Mrs. Adam Gunther, Clark Mills, Miss Katherine Anhalt, of St. Joseph’s convent at Milwaukee; sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two children are dead.
Mrs. Fischer was born in Berlin, Germany, and came to this country with her parents at the age of 11 years. Her maiden name was Miss Minnie Anhalt and she was married to Henry Fischer, March 9, 1861, in the town of Rhine. Her husband died August 30, 1893. She has been a resident of this county since she came to this country and had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Hemsing for the past eight years.
Brief services will be held this afternoon at 4 o’clock at the home of her daughter, 724 Center avenue, Rev. C. P. Schultz of the Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. The remains will be taken to Glenbeulah on the 5 o’clock train and the funeral will be held there from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Otto Matthias, Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. Schultz conducting the services. Interment will be made in the Glenbeulah cemetery.
