One of the 1st pioneers to arrive in 1867 to the Bitteroot Valley . He worked and lived close to his brother in law Orlin (Charley) Squires who arrived in 1864. Together they helped forge the rough valley into a better place. Blodgett Spire and Blodgett Canyon carry his name.

Lyman is my 2nd great uncle and Orlin is my 2nd great grandfather.
