Mary Merry, wife of the late Frederick F. Merry died at her home in this city, February 2, 1914 at the age of 77 years, 3 months, and 7 days.
Mrs. Merry's name was Mary Reed and she was born in Indiana, October 27, 1836. When she was eight years of age she came to Bond county withher parents and has since made this place home. On Dec 27, 1856 she was married to Frederick Merry, who died Nov. 13, 1883.
She is survived by six children, five sons, David, Albert, emery, Leaonard of Greenville and William of Maxwell, Missouri and one daughter, Mrs. Lucy Hoopengarner of Vincennes, Indiana. She is also survived by one brother, Perry reed of Kingman, Kansas. Burial was at Old Mt. Nebo.
