Whitesboro - Services for JOSIE B. WALKUP, 83 year old housewife who died in Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Huff Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. James Gilbert will officiate and burial will be in the Collinsville Cemetery.
Mrs. Walkup was born in the Ethel community, the daughter of Charlie Thomas Tuley and Josie (Campbell) Tuley and married Roy N. Walkup April 21, 1923 in the Ethel community. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Ethel.
Surviving are her daughters ; Jean Stephenson of Collinsville, Betty Greene of Houston and Wanda Morton of Portland ; sister, Mamie Bragg of Rhome ; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Cliff Stephenson, Gary Greene, Mike Morton, Gene Cox, Robert James Goodman and Larry Neely. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
