Harry Ervin BASS was the son of Benton BASS and Mary E. BLUNT. Harry was the informant listed on his father's death certificate, just four months before his own death.

His wife's name was Bernice. According to his death certificate, they were divorced. As of the 1930 census they were still married with three children: Richard L., Eula M., and Mary F. BASS.

I've posted his name and death slightly different from his tombstone. He's listed as Harry "E." and "I." on different documents but he signs his WWI draft card as "Harry Ervin Bass." His marker is the only place I've seen his middle name spelled out beginning with an "I." Secondly, his marker has his death as 24 Dec 1935 but the physician on the death certificate states that he died at 11 pm on December 25th.
