HERBERT SCHELNICK died Friday, June 14, 2002. He was 82. He was born on January 23, 1920 in Loebau, Texas to Alvin Schelnick and Ida Mitschke Schelnick. He was also a member of Saint Mark Lutheran Church. He is survived by sons Darrell Schelnick and wife Rebecca and Dickie Schelnick and wife Coni; sister Amanda Frisch; grandchildren Kim Ware, Tina Schelnick, James Schelnick, Britni Schelnick, Joshua Schelnick and Samantha Schelnick; and great grandchildren Justin and Jeremy. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 until 9 o'clock in the evening on Monday, June 17, 2002 at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road. A funeral service will be conducted at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1515 Hillendahl, on Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at 11:00 o'clock in the morning. Pastor Schultz will be officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery followed by a reception at St. Mark Lutheran Church.
