Mrs Mary Jane Mashburn, 68, died at her home near Barnesville Friday morning following a long illness. She had lived in the Gill and Barnesville districts the past 27 years.
Mrs Mashburn is survived by eight daughters: Mrs Lova Hester of Eaton, Mrs Effie McKay of Dodge City, KS, Mrs Jessie Johnson of Springfield, MA, Mrs Bessie (Ressie) Smith of Idaho Springs, Mrs Elizabeth Walker of Fort Collins, Mrs Alma Decker and Mrs Cleta Ivie of Gill, and Mrs Faye Williams (McWilliams). A sister and brother, Mrs T.R. Alford and Lester Cook of Buffalo, MO, 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
