Funeral services for Mr. Adam David Allred, 21, of Celina, were conducted at
10 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2001, from the chapel of Upton Funeral Home in
Celina. Burial was in Fitzgerald Cemetery with Upton Funeral Home in charge
of the arrangements.
Mr. Allred died Friday, January 26, 2001, at Cumberland River Hospital in
Celina. He was a Deputy Sheriff and K-9 handler for the Clay County
Sheriff�s Department, a member of the Celina Fire Department, a
member of the Clay County Rescue Squad, and was of the Baptist faith.
Born October 3, 1979, in Gainesboro, he was the son of David Allred of
Celina and Tammy Russell of Cookeville. Survivors, in addition to his
parents, include a brother, Kyle Russell, Cookeville; three sisters, Brooke
Allred, Cookeville, Candace Russell, Cookeville, and Nastasia Allred,
Celina; and his grandparents, Andrew and Joyce Davis, Celina, and Bert
Hestand Jr., Moss.
Pallbearers were his fellow officers.
