The former Arleen Grossheim she was born on March 31, 1923 in Greenbush daughter of the late Walter and Hilda Kraemer Grossheim. She attended Elkhart Lake schools. On August 30 1941 she married Norman Reichardt Sr. at St Peters Church in the Tn.of Rhine. He died June 21, 2001. The couple farmed in the Tn. of Schleswig until 1984 when they moved to Kiel. Arleen was also a baker at Siebkens Resort in Elkhart Lake for 40 years and worked in the Kiel High School kitchen for a number of years. She was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Louis Corners and the Ladies Aid. Arleen enjoyed traveling, gardening, geneology, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Survivors are her children; Georgene (Dennis) Dexheimmer of Elkhart Lake, Norman Jr. (Pamela) Reichardt of Branch, Roger (Mary) Reichardt of School Hill, Bonnie (Barry) Sorensen of Sheboygan, Nancy Petzold of Kiel and William (Teresa) Reichardt of Howards Grove; one son in law, David Schultz of Waldo; 24 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren; sister in laws, Priscilla Grossheim and Marcelain Odekirk both of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Annette Schultz, one grandson, Michael Dexheimmer, two brothers, Leroy and Raymond Grossheim, brother and sister in laws, Lyle and Delores Reichardt and her son in law, Terry Petzold.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church in Louis Corners with Rev. Ted Olsen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family and friends may call at the CHURCH on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Meiselwitz – Vollstedt Funeral Home in Kiel is assisting the family.
