Thelma Louise Dobbs Spears, age 74, of Danville, AR died Saturday, September 2, 2000 at Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville, AR. She was born February 9, 1926 in Bluffton, AR to the late Fee Winfield and Dovie Florence Garner Dobbs. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Spears; a brother, William Dobbs and two sisters, Alene Vaughn and Elsie McConnell.
She is survived by, a son, Thermon Spears of Plainview, AR; four daughters, Juanita Alvey of Bluffton, AR, Mary Fowler of Briggsville, AR, Diane Nelms and Carolyn Smith both of Danville, AR; a brother, Delbert Dobbs of Rodeo, CA; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held September 5, 2000 at the Briggsville Second Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Walker officiating. Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Briggsville, AR.
