She was born June 16, 1911, in Piggott, Ark. She was married Oct. 29, 1928, in Chester to Turner Qualls; he died March 16, 1961.
Mrs. Qualls was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Ava.
Survivors include sons, James of Campbell Hill, Charles of Joliet, and Joseph of Ava; a daughter, Dorothy Falkenbury of Ava; stepsons, Bert Qualls of Murphysboro and Walter Qualls of Centralia; stepdaughters, Zettie Lusk and Knettie Thompson, both ofEast St. Louis, and Anna Holland of DeSoto; 14 grandchildren and 27 step-grandchildren.
One daughter, one stepson, one granddaughter and one step-granddaughter preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. William Pfau officiating. Burial will be in Glenn Cemetery, Rockwood. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
