William George Board is the son of William Halstaff Board and Mary Kelk Board and the brother of Charles Henry Board; he is the step-son of Lovern Potter Board and half-brother of Eva, Jennie and Lois Board.

On November 7th, 1911, he married the love of his life, Pearl A. Graf, of Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Together, Will and Pearl raised two loving sons, Cletus Charles Board, who married Theresa Ebert, and Richard "Dick" Board, and their beloved daughter, Mary Ann Board, who married Kenneth J. Messer.

Will Board worked for the Chicago & Northwestern Railway Company for more than fifty years, working as a Brakeman and as a Conductor.

William George Board..... a loving Husband, Father, Son, Grandfather, Great- Grandfather, Brother, Cherished Uncle and Adored Great Uncle.

He is lovingly remembered by all of the families and friends who knew him.

Passes Away
In Adams

Word has been received of the
death of William G. Board, 81,
Adams, who passed away Tuesday,
April 9th at the Adams County
Memorial Hospital.
He was married to Pearl Graf
of Baraboo, Nov. 7, 1911. He was
preceded in death by his wife and
two sons, Cletus and Richard. He
was a retired conductor on the
C&NW Railroad after 52 years of
service.
Survivors include a daughter,
Mrs. Kenneth Messer (Mary) of
Chicago, a daughter-in-law, Mrs.
Cletus Board of Hastings, Neb.,
five grandchildren and 3 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held
April 10th at St. Joseph Catholic
Church, Adams.
Burial was made in St. Leo
Cemetery, Friendship.
