She was born August 4, 1926 in Hamilton County, the daughter of Grant and Hattie (Hutchison) Little. She married Kenneth D. Renshaw Oct. 27, 1945 in White County, and he preceded her in death Dec. 28, 1991. Nellie was a homemaker who loved to cook and garden.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Jim and Susan Renshaw of Carmi, and Terry and Colette Renshaw of Germantown; a daughter, Rosa Lee Renshaw of Carmi; two sisters, Wanda Lee Campbell of Carmi, and Rose and "Coach" Poore of Carmi; six grandchildren, Kenneth Heath Renshaw and his girlfriend, Ashley Miller, Tara Lynn and Kevin Burnett, James Bryan and Tammy Sullivan, Barbara Dawn and Clint Becker, Lisa Nichole Renshaw, and Krystal Rose Garrett; 11 great-grandchildren; and longtime companion to "Butch" and family friend, Dolores Compton of Grayville.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth, in 1991; a son, Kenneth E. "Butch"; two brothers, James E. and Dale; and a great-grandson.
