D.C.Hague, a pioneer farmer of Grantsville TWP., died at his home East of Leverton Wed. Jun 5, 1916. he was born in Athens County, Ohio Sep 3, 1842 and was therefore in his 74th year. he came from his native state in 1869 at the age of 27 and for a few years resided near Brookfield before locating on the farm where he died. he was united in marriage with Miss Isabelle J Burroughs May 13, 1875. he leaves the widow, two sisters and one brother. member of the Great Hill Baptist Church.
