The son of Herman and Margaret Albrecht, he moved to Montana after military service in the Army during World War II. He worked as a carpenter in Great Falls, Montana until 1980 when he moved back to Harford County and then continued his carpentry work for Baltimore City. He was a volunteer at Fallston General Hospital and for Meals on Wheels after his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, nee Kohlerman, one son, one daughter, one step-son, two step-daughters, two sisters, ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
