Lyla Marie Gardner

A most precious angel, Lyla Marie Gardner, passed peacefully from our hands into the hands of loved ones previously departed on Feb. 4th. Born May 8th, 2008 her short stay on this earth lasted as long as it did because of her profound love for her Mother Heather Marie Beagley Gardner, her Father Steven C. Gardner, Brothers Levi Cameron and Mason Christopher Gardner and Grandparents, Brent and Marie Gardner, Dennis and Jeannette Beagley, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and others who were allowed to bask in her sunshine for a time that feels far too brief.

Lyla touched the spirits of any who opened their hearts to her. She was never able to speak but taught us lessons of love and service that will affect many generations to come. Her expression of her personality always brought smiles to our faces and hearts. It was always a bittersweet emotion for the nurses and doctors of Mckay-Dee and Primary Children's Hospitals, and Dr. Patrick Rose's office when Lyla would visit them. All will miss her angelic countenance.

A celebration of Lyla's life will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Clinton 2nd Ward Chapel, 2841 W. 1300 No., Clinton. Two opportunities to visit Lyla's family and friends will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the chapel.

A graveside service will be at the Clinton City Cemetery following the celebration.

Our profound gratitude to Lindquist Mortuaries for coordinating these events and their caring service.

Please accept our gratitude to all who have helped us to enjoy the life of this precious angel. You are too numerous to mention but you are in our prayers.
