Mary Dyke
Mary Alice Dyke, 75, of West North Street, Waverly, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 1992, at a Piketon nursing home.
Born July 1, 1917, in Pike County, a daughter of the late Jacob and Grace Lawson Darst, she was a retired cook of the Cozy Kitchen of Waverly and attended Pleasant Hill Community Church.
Preceded in death Nov. 13, 1917, by her husband, Lawrence J. Dyke, whom she married Aug. 20, 1936, she is survived by two sisters, Irene E. Crabtree and Margaret Robinson, both of Waverly.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Jacob, George and Arthur Darst; and four sisters, Bertha Darst, Anna Darst, Carrie Darst and Martha Butler.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly, with the Rev. Donald Pfeifer officiating, and interment in Waverly Evergreen Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the services Monday.
