She was born Oct. 7, 1930, in Marion, the daughter of Harvey and Mary Katherine (Hall) Williams. She graduated from Anderson High School and was a lifelong Anderson resident. She retired in 1985 from McDonald's Furniture where she was an office manager for 35 years.
Sue attended Southdale Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed sports, rooting for the Colts and pulling for Jeff Gordon. She also enjoyed taking Michael and his good friend, Brent Kennedy, to rock concerts. Her passion was being a grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Michael Addison of Anderson; two grandchildren, Zachary Addison and Hannah Addison, both of Franklin; their mother, Andrea Addison of Franklin; sister, Carol Ashley of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willis Glenn Addison; and brother, David Williams.
The family is grateful for the love and care that she received from the staff at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred MacMillan officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
