Mr. Duffin was born Dec. 18, 1915 in Kingman, Kan., to the late Dr. O. R. and Retta (Messinger) Duffin. A lifetime resident of Kingman, he was manager of Anawalt-Campbell Lumber Co. until it closed in 1967. He retired as purching agent for the Don Dye Co. in 1995. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
On Oct. 19, 1940, he married Mabel K. Biggs at Kingman. Preceded in death by sisters, Fern Curry, Wanda Yoeman, Junia Duffin.
Survivors: wife, Mabel; son, James of Kingman; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Larry Smith of Wichita, Carolyn and Dennis O'Keefe of Goddard, Dr. Kay Duffin of Albuquerque; grandchilren, Scott Smith, Suzanne Smith Neville, Steve Smith, Dennis O'Keefe Jr., Patrick O'Keefe, Eric Duffin; five great-grandchildren.
