Clyde William Ward, 59 years, of West Waynesburg, died Wednesday, February 7, 1962. He had been ill several years. Mr. Ward was a son of Frank and Charity Rhome Ward. For a number of years Mr. Ward, in association with his parents, had operated a restaurant, just above the old Walton Hotel on West High street. Mr. Ward had resided all of his life in the West Waynesburg area and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. His wife, Helen Hoy, survives. Also surviving are four sons, Kenneth Ward of McKeesport; David Ward, U. S. Navy; Donald Ward, stationed at Sacramento, Calif., in the U. S. Air Force, and Carl Ward at home; five grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Hoy of Washington, and Mrs. Harold Colebank of Orlando, Fla.; and one brother, Russell Ward of Washington. Two sisters and one brother are deceased.
